I created that hairstyle with the thought of doing a Mohawk, but I wanted to keep her Avant-garde. I mixed Hollywood Virgin Remy and Indio Virgin Remy hair. To add depth to the hair, I used the colors spice and casino red and deposited them into the hair. I bonded strips of hair down the middle of the style and accented the hair with gold highlights. After I accented the hair, I molded the sides up and made it into the Mohawk. And then I curled the hair really tight and cut and textured-sheared-the hair to give it flair. Cutting the hair from 18" down to 10", I feathered the hair over the eye-allowing the rest of the hair to remain 18" in length. I wanted to make sure to use both packs of hair. [This style] is very edgy; elegant; Avant-garde.
