1. I began the style by sectioning off the crown of the model’s hair to create a ponytail at the top; leaving the edges of the entire hairline out.
2. Next, I measured the tracks of the Hollywood Virgin Remy 10inch #1 hair, cut, and bonded them vertically to make the french roll (bun) in the back area. I teased my clients’ hair to stuff the roll and make it appear full and big.
3. After the french roll was neatly done, I bonded tracks of hair - that I stripped and dyed with a violet and blue rinse to the inner part of the hairline that was sectioned off and left out.
4. Then, I took the hair that I bonded to the hairline and spritzed and flat-ironed it to make strips to create the basketweave pattern.
5. I placed both the colored hair and black hair to the bang area to form the swoop in the front that covers the side and blends with the bun at the top.
6. Then I used the rest of the hair to wrap around the ponytail and created the sculptor style at the top that sits on the swoop.
7. To complete the style, I made strips from the swooped bang hair that blends on the side to look the same and conformed to the back.
8. After spritzing and blow drying like crazy, I added some rhinestones and there you go!
